We have some good news!

The programme of events has been finalised and is available online.

Take a look now and book your place on the various activities.

Some events have a limited number of participants. These include, for example, guided tours (Prater Backstage or the Parliament), live mystery events, and talks (tips on smartphone apps, programming Wherigo, advice from a reviewer, or AI in geocaching). Führungen (Prater Backstage oder Parlament), Live-Mysteries, geführte Cachertouren oder Vorträge (Tipps für Smartphone-Apps, Wherigo programmieren, Tipps vom Reviewer oder KI beim Cachen).

Main and side events Mega Vienna

To help you plan for the event weekend, we’re publishing the main and side events for the Mega:

Friday, 25 September 2026	7.00 pm – 9.00 pm	Welcome – Event
Saturday, 26 September 2026	10:00 am – 6:00 pm	Hauptevent
Saturday, 26 September 2026	6.00 pm – 7.00 pm	Woodcoin – Event
Sunday, 27 September 2026	9.30 am – 11.30 am	CITO
Sunday, 27 September 2026	12:00 pm – 1:00 pm	Good Bye-Event

The events on Friday and Saturday will take place right on the event site. The CITO and Good Bye events are just outside the site, but still in the immediate vicinity and easily accessible.

New order for supporter shirts

As you requested, we will now have another batch of supporter shirts printed before the event.

This way, you’ll still have the chance to promote the event, whilst also being able to turn up at the event wearing your personalised T-shirts.

All orders received and paid for by April 30, 2026, will be considered.

The T-shirts will be ready by 20 May 2026, and we’ll take care of the handover.

Hornbert has arrived!

It will still be a little while before Hornbert arrives in Vienna. But the event is already generating a buzz.

As well as the cool gym bags, which are perfect for carrying all your essentials and event goodies, lots of Hornbert soft toys have already arrived. They can’t wait to have a cuddle with you soon.

Why not take a look at the Online-Shop and get your hands on Hornbert in all sorts of different designs. Whether it’s a coin, a T-shirt, a metal tag or a soft toy. The gym bag is then perfect for carrying them all.

The time has finally come: advance ticket sales for the mega event in Vienna have begun.

Standard admission costs €5.

Discounts in the form of free admission are available to GeoW4 members, children and young people up to the age of 15.

Information regarding free tickets for members has been sent out. Please DO NOT purchase a ticket if you have not received this information, and contact mitgliedschaft@geow4.at to ensure you do not lose your membership benefit!

Hurray, the time has come!

We have already posted some information about the program here. However, we don't want to give everything away just yet, and we are still working on some ideas. But we can promise you that it will be another great weekend.

The shop will also be back online shortly. There are some “treats” you can purchase there. So keep checking the listing and, above all, the homepage.

Please register right away with a “will attend” so we can see who we've already managed to inspire in Vienna. We're excited to see who we'll meet.

Die Blockparty rückt mit Riesenschritten näher! Damit wir alle Bestellungen rechtzeitig zum Event verarbeiten können, beachtet bitte folgende Daten für den Annahmeschluss:

T-Shirts:

Event- und Supporter-Shirts können noch bis zum 30.05.2025 bestellt werden, damit sie noch zeitgerecht gedruckt werden können. Event-Shirts wird es nur mehr geringe Mengen vor Ort geben, sichert euch daher durch eine Vorbestellung ein Exemplar in der passenden Größe.

Coins & Metalltags:

Hier habt ihr noch Zeit bis zum 10.06.2025 eure Bestellung zu platzieren. Bitte bedenkt den Überweisungsweg und schickt die Zahlung rechtzeitig auf die Reise.
Auch hier gilt, was vorbestellt ist, ist euch sicher. Die Standard Event-Coin wird noch in größerer Menge am Shop beim Event vorhanden sein, alle anderen Artikeln nach Verfügbarkeit.

Motorhome pitches

The operator provides a contingent of pitches for mobile homes and tents on the event site.

A total of 30 pitches are available, you can reserve a pitch here.

This is only the pitch, electricity, water and waste water disposal are not possible.

The site can be used free of charge from Friday, 20 June 2025 from 8 am until Sunday, 22 June 2025 until 4 pm.

The site is freely accessible during this period. Longer use is not possible.

ATTENTION: Please make ONLY ONE RESERVATION per motorhome or tent - the individual participants are not relevant. Enter only '1' in the 'Guests' field.
