Erfolgreiche Klettertour

Am 12. April fand im Horner Becken die 3. Klettertour statt.

20 Teilnehmer fanden sich bei frühlingshaftem Wetter ein um in die Geheimnisse des Klettern eingeweiht zu werden.

Papaschlumpf59 führte wieder professionell durch den Tag und zeigte gekonnt die verschiedenen Techniken an unterschiedlichen Caches. Einige Teilnehmer wagten sich auch an die Besteigung von Bäumen und konnten so praktische Erfahrung sammeln.

Rundum wieder eine gelungene Veranstaltung wo auch der Spaß und die Unterhaltung nicht zu kurz kamen.

Vielen Dank an Papaschlumpf59 und allen die ihm geholfen haben.

Um euch die Planung für das Eventwochenende zu erleichtern, veröffentlichen wir bereits jetzt das Rahmenprogram für das Mega:

Sonntag, 27.09.26	12:00 – 13:00 Uhr	Good Bye-Event

Die Events am Freitag und Samstag finden direkt am Eventgelände statt. CITO und Good Bye-Event etwas außerhalb, allerdings im nahen Umfeld und leicht erreichbar.

New order for supporter shirts

As you requested, we will now have another batch of supporter shirts printed before the event.

This way, you’ll still have the chance to promote the event, whilst also being able to turn up at the event wearing your personalised T-shirts.

All orders received and paid for by April 30, 2026, will be considered.

The T-shirts will be ready by 20 May 2026, and we’ll take care of the handover.

Hornbert has arrived!

It will still be a little while before Hornbert arrives in Vienna. But the event is already generating a buzz.

As well as the cool gym bags, which are perfect for carrying all your essentials and event goodies, lots of Hornbert soft toys have already arrived. They can’t wait to have a cuddle with you soon.

Why not take a look at the Online-Shop and get your hands on Hornbert in all sorts of different designs. Whether it’s a coin, a T-shirt, a metal tag or a soft toy. The gym bag is then perfect for carrying them all.

Listing Mega Wien 2026

The listing for the Mega in Vienna 2026 is now online. There will be a continuous programme of geocaching activities from 25 to 27 September.

We’ve already posted quite a bit about the programme here. However, we don’t want to give everything away just yet, and we’re still working on some of the ideas. But we can promise you it’s going to be another fantastic weekend. As well as the main event on Saturday, there’ll be geocaching activities for you to enjoy on Friday and Sunday too.

The shop is already online too. There are a few “treats” you can buy there. So do have a look: https://www.geow4.at/shop/ . You can already buy your tickets. That way, entry to the main event will be quicker. (The side events on Friday and Sunday can be attended free of charge).

However, you will only receive the T-shirt in advance).

We have already posted some information about the program here. However, we don't want to give everything away just yet, and we are still working on some ideas. But we can promise you that it will be another great weekend.
